MALE CHEST CONTOURING / GYNECOMASTIA: Case 31

Surgeon : Owen Reid

Details

Pre operatively this patient demonstrated moderate gynecomastia with mildly dilated areolae, glandular tissue that hides the underlying pec muscle and a well-defined breast fold.

Correction required a procedure that combined liposuction and surgical excision. The excision was performed through an incision that follows the lower border of the areola.

Post operatively the borders of the pectoralis major muscle are more easily visualized which contributes significantly to a more masculine appearance.
